Volunteers from registrants. We look for a workflow that's specific, painful, and one that other firms in the same industry will also recognise.
They share their workflow on Zoom (15 min)
The featured firm walks us through how the work happens today, what's redacted, what's sensitive, and what 'good' looks like.
Willie + Claude Code build the agent live (40 min)
No prep. No staged demo. We pair-program with Claude in real time — including the moments where it's wrong and we have to course-correct.
Working demo + Q&A (5 min)
We run the agent end-to-end against the real workflow. The featured firm walks away with a working agent. Everyone else walks away with a recording.
Why we do this
Transparency beats slideware.
Most AI vendors show you a polished demo and ask you to imagine your own workflow inside it. Build Hour does the opposite: we put the actual messy workflow on screen and build the agent in front of you, mistakes and all.
No sales pressure. The firm whose workflow we feature keeps the agent. Free. They can hire us to extend it, or they can take it and run.
No staged demos. Claude Code is open. The terminal is shared. When the model gets something wrong, we leave the wrong-turn in the recording. That’s the part you don’t see in vendor pitches.

Common questions.
Is this really free?
Yes. The featured firm keeps the agent. Everyone else gets the recording. We do this because it's the best marketing we have — three problems solved at once: sales demo, marketing content, trust.
What if my workflow is confidential?
We coach the featured firm on what to redact before the session. Names, claim numbers, client identifiers all stay out. We've worked with insurance, legal, and health firms — privacy is built into the prep.
Will my registration data be shared?
No. It sits in our CRM, used only to send you the Zoom link, the recording, and (if you opted in) follow-up Build Hour invitations.
Can I attend without volunteering my workflow?
Of course. Most attendees do exactly that. Just leave the 'feature my workflow' box unchecked.
What happens after the session?
You get the recording within 48 hours. We publish a written case study on adaptation.ai/insights within a week. The featured firm gets a working agent and a 14-day window to decide if they want to extend it with us.
